Please help! I’m in agony.

Patient describes her experience with the NBE treatment. She has low back pain chronically for the past year. The Sciatic and leg pain on her left side began about the same time. She has difficulty walking and sitting and needs a cane to walk. She has intermittent neck pain due to bulging disc at c-5 for 10 years. After NBE treatments, her pain is gone.

@SARAH25PCOS Oh Didn’t think about that. I have a hard time getting up and down couldnt image being pregnant with twin.. Hopefully you start feeling better. You are almost there. How exciting!
I am so sorry your in so much pain. I hope you get some relief soon!
The chiropractor changed my life when I was pregnant!!! Went from pretty bad pain to total freedom, I recommend it BIG TIME!
Your poor body! Your almost done hon, hang in there.
I wonder if you went to a pool and just floated in the deep end if that would relieve some of the pressure that is causing the pain. Just a suggestion. I know that baths are hard to get in and out of, but maybe try the pool
@jimlizhunter OMG did you deliver today??????
@sdimock1 LMAO if I could get INTO a bathtub I’d do that, but alas…….I haven’t been able to take a bath in months. Only showers. I even have a shower seat but it hurts to sit in…
@TheSuperMoochacha Yup I had my Husband bring the recliner from the basement so I can have somewhere to sit that was comfortable. It helps a bit however lately NOTHING helps. I sit here with heating pads on my legs or a vibrating massager on my butt just to loosen the leg. It helps for a second or two but then tenses up again. I haven’t slept in the rocker JUST yet (surprised my doctor today, too) but I think I may begin to in a week or so.
@elisam34 Lots of people have recommended yoga for me but I can barely move anymore
@thebubblelush I’m scared to death of chiropractors! They freak me out lol. I have the pubic symphasis too on top of it all. So, the sciatic nerve is pinched AND that…it’s horrid. I’m not convinced it’s sciatica though because my back doesn’t hurt all the time – but maybe that’s the thing with the nerve? I don’t even know LOL I can’t even form sentences anymore.
Get thee to a chiropractor. I didn’t have sciatic pain, mine was pubic symphasis pain and I felt like my pelvis was going to break in half. She was able to adjust me to where I could walk again. Chiropractors are like miracle workers with this type of pain.
I’m sorry you’re hurting so much. You’re just doing such a great job growing two big healthy babies that your body can’t keep up.
Is is your sciatica? I went to my chiropractor for mine. It did help alleviate a bit.. but the minute the baby came out.. the pain went away. Sounds like one of the babies must be pressing down on there and until they change their position.. all remedies are temporary! Oh I hope you get relief soon! xo
i had horrible back pain when i was pregnant w/ my first because i have herniated disks. my SO put capsacian cream on my back. i’m not sure if i’m spelling it right. it is safe for pregnancy. a warning though, when you first put it on it gets really hot, so be prepared. it’s made out of hot peppers so imagine eating really spicy food only topically, if that makes any sense. it sucks at first but it does work. also i would consider a chiropractor. also, a body pillow at night and yoga.
My SIL had this in her pregnancy and it is the sciatic nerve, they recommended lying down on her side with knees bent and apparently walking helped her alot because somehow that relaxes the muscles I don’t know if walking a bit is an option for you because of your twin pregnancy. Will let you know if I find anything else out. Sorry are having that kind of pain ;-(
Definitely sounds like the sciatic nerve and if nothings working I’d go see a chiropractor. Hopefully they can relieve some of the pain. I’d even look into finding someone that does A.R.T. at a Chiropractic Centre. (Active Release Technique) They can tend specifically to nerves and muscles even more so then a regular chiropractor. I’ll keep you in my prayers, & hopefully soon you’ll feel MUCH better. I’m SOO SORRY you have to deal with this at all. :-/
Ouch I’m so sorry you’re going through this, it does sound like sciatic my best friend had this with her pregnancy and I was her birthing partner. For a whole month I sat with her massaging her. Are you using a reclining chair it helped her, she actually slept in her reclining chair, nothing else helped her and this only gave her seconds of relief. I think it helped her posture and her back arch and so how that gave her relief. Maybe go to a store and try a few reclining chairs?
Yup, had this with Jaxson. Dr said it was sciatica. It was horrible
I am sorry that you are in so much pain I have had sciatica pain befor and i went to a chiroprator it got better pretty fast i hope you find somthing that works
Sounds like sciatic & w/ pregnancy you can’t take nerve meds. You said, u tried cold but have u tried ice 30 min every 4 hrs? U might try salonas pads, caspacian cream, biofreeze avil frm chiropractors, laying on opposite side, swimming pool as it takes weight off u – no swim just soak, recliner to elevate legs, physical theraapy w/ tens unit, accupuncture, biofededback/medditation, use firm chair/sofa/bed not soft, etc. Be careful w/ chiroprractors until u have had complete spinal wk up.
Try chiro? Maybe some adjusting may alleviate the sciatica. Hang in there Hun, ur almost there!!
@sdimock1 I could make a video showing what i’m talking about if your interested.. Just let me know. I hope you start feeling better ASAP.
I have an idea.. Not sure if it will help cause i’m not pregnant yet. At walmart, by the bath bubbles, and such. There is a few little things called like body aches and cold, sinus, salts. Put them in a hot bath and relax. That tends to help me. I lay in it for like an hour then get up and lay with a heating pad on them. I have a bad back and this seams to help. I have been also told to try espen(not sure on spelling) To help with the pain. I havent tried this yet but hopefully this helps
@SARAH25PCOS I will keep looking for ideas for you. I know the pain in unbearable because I could barely walk with my second and my fifth. It’s one of those things that is hit or miss. Sometimes one thing will work but won’t work the next time. As I said, I get it once in a blue now, but when it comes back I am in agony for a few weeks. I know about now you just can’t wait to have the babies with you and have the pregnancy over with. Hang in there.
Have you tried leg rub/massage? maybe a back rub/Massage too. The Babies might be pushing on nervous’ in the back and cuz the pain. I remember having that issue with my son. It doesn’t quite take all the pain down but majority of it down.
Im 35 weeks with twins and have gone through this same thing. My groin area is what hurts the worst. I can’t get up or walk either. I have been using a wheel chair for about 3 weeks. I went to a chiropractor for a while which really helped. But today was admitted to the hospital with high blood pressure. they may deliver the babies tomorrow.
