Q&A: Ultram I am the only one who thinks it doesn’t work?

I injured my back and I also tested positive for Fibromyalgia. I am now going to a “Pain Specialist” Doctor. He initially put me on Cymbalta and Lodine. The Lodine helps a little the Cymbalta just made me sick and crazy. He now has put me on Ultram 100mg every 6 hours. I get absolutely no pain relief from it. I think its little more than a sugar pill (I know it’s not but it feels like it). One of my friends says I am nuts its a wonder drug and if I were “really in pain” I would be grateful to have them.

They do nothing for the pain, I am in just as much pain whether I take them or not. I have given them a “chance” and have been taking them for several days. I think they were a huge waste of money.

Does anyone else find them to be as worthless as me? PS I don’t take any other “Opiate” drugs and I am not an addict or a drug seeker I am just in pain constantly

Ultram really works for me, for the most part, but I have been told by serveral people that it hasn’t helped them at all, so it is a common complaint. I know it must be hard, Fibro is very hard to have and a back injury to add to it! While one drug might help one person it might not help the other and vis versa, hopefully you can find something else that works for you!
